Solution Description
The WBGT Monitoring Device by APAQ is designed for real-time heat stress monitoring, ensuring workplace safety in high-temperature environments. It is ideal for indoor and outdoor use in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and industrial plants. The device is equipped with a Globe Temperature Sensor to assess the total radiant heat load from the sun and other sources, a Wet Bulb Temperature Sensor to calculate the relative humidity of the air, and an Air Temperature Sensor to measure the dry bulb temperature. With this information, the device calculates the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), Operative Temperature, Heat Index, and Humidex, providing accurate risk assessments. Portable and mountable on a tripod, it supports multi-location monitoring with up to two satellite units. Additionally, it features built-in radio technology for monitoring at different levels or locations and comes with HS Manager software for data collection, reporting, and analysis.
