About The Course

This course focuses on analysing various sustainability reporting frameworks, the approaches to take for carbon emission calculations, and demonstrating how that is relevant to your organisation and client’s supply chain. It will equip you with the relevant skills, and frameworks to start sustainability initiatives, such as establishing baseline consumption data, within your organisation.

This half day course is targeted at professionals who are in management roles in their organisation.

Courses Objective

This course focuses on analysing various sustainability reporting frameworks, the approaches to take for carbon emission calculations, and demonstrating how that is relevant to your organisation and client’s supply chain. It will equip you with the relevant skills, and frameworks to start sustainability initiatives, such as establishing baseline consumption data, within your organisation.

This half day course is targeted at professionals who are in management roles in their organisation.

Course Outline

  • Identify the types of GHG carbon emissions (Scope 1,2,3)
  • Examine best practices of carbon management for an organisation
  • Discuss the impact of carbon mitigation (proactive) versus carbon adaptation
    reduction strategies (reactive)
  • Deep dive into supply chain disclosure management

This course is applicable for all professionals ranging from entry-level to senior management. No prior knowledge or experience in sustainability is required.

  • An SGTech member is eligible for up to SG$500 per pax per training programme.
  • SGTech member can apply for the funding following the below steps:
    • Please submit a Request for Support on Training on SGTech website here (see Item II, section 1, 2, and 3).
    • Upon application approval by SGTech, you may register and make payment for the course with SL2.
    • Upon completion of the training programme, please submit to SGTech: the proof of training completion form (see Item II, section 3) and proof of payment to SL2.
    • SGTech will make the fund pay-out to you.

Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
